The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) seeks project proposals as part of its Clean Fuels Program to fund projects from non-attainment or maintenance areas in achieving or maintaining the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for ozone and carbon monoxide.

2 - LA Metro Issues RFP For Up To 30 Next Generation Transit Buses

Earlier this week, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for up to 30 Super Low Emission Buses (SLEBs) and/or Zero Emission Buses (ZEBs) as part of a pilot program to evaluate next generation advanced vehicle technologies for LA's future bus fleet.

3 - CALSTART Notified of $9.2 Million CEC Vehicle Technology Award

Earlier today, the California Energy Commission (CEC) announced their Notice of Proposed Award (NOPA) for the "Advanced Medium-and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technologies Pre-Commercial Demonstrations" solicitation. CALSTART received the largest funding recommendation at $9.2 million.

The California Energy Commission has issued a competitive grant solicitation for $18.7 million for projects that expand the network of public retail and public-private fleet-based hydrogen fueling stations.
